How is SmartSearchWP different from a standard AI chatbot for WordPress?

A generic AI chatbot answers from the language model’s general knowledge: it does not know your site.

SmartSearchWP works differently, using the RAG method (Retrieval-Augmented Generation): it indexes your site’s content as embeddings, then, for each question, it retrieves the most relevant passages from YOUR content and generates an answer grounded in them.

The result: answers aligned with your real content (pages and posts in the free version; products, PDFs and custom post types with the premium addons) instead of generic answers. You use your own OpenAI key and everything is self-hosted on your WordPress.
