# What happens when the premium license expires?

When your premium license expires, the plugin and the addons you have already installed keep working normally: the chatbot, RAG search, your settings and your indexed content stay active. Nothing is switched off automatically.

What you lose when it expires:

- updates for the premium tools (new features, compatibility, addon security fixes);
- access to new premium addons (you can still see them listed, but not install them);
- priority support.

Updates to the free Core keep coming through WordPress.org. To get premium updates and new addons again, simply renew the license.
