# What content does SmartSearchWP index?

In the free version, SmartSearchWP indexes your WordPress pages and posts: it turns them into embeddings so it can answer from their content.

Premium addons extend indexing to other sources:

- WooCommerce products (WooCommerce Integration addon);
- PDF files from your media library (PDF addon);
- custom post types and ACF fields (Custom Post Type & ACF addon).

Without these addons, the Core indexes only pages and posts.
