# Is the SmartSearchWP plugin compatible with The Event Calendar plugin?

This is an FAQ answer for the [Wordpress plugin chatGPT SmartSearchWP](https://www.smartsearchwp.com/en/).

Yes, on a WordPress site with **The Event Calendar** installed, **SmartSearchWP** can support and include **events** in search results. The plugin uses "events" as **Custom Post Types**, enabling it to index and make accessible this content in chatbot responses via the [Custom Post Types](https://www.smartsearchwp.com/en/custom-post-type-and-advanced-custom-fields-addon/) addon.

When a user searches for an event, **SmartSearchWP analyzes the query and displays the corresponding events**, ensuring a **smooth and efficient search** for specific events on your site.
