# How do I get my free license key and how does it work?

This is an FAQ answer for the [Wordpress plugin chatGPT SmartSearchWP](https://www.smartsearchwp.com/en/).

When you request a **free license key**, it is **automatically generated and installed** on your site. You don **'t need to do anything** to activate it.

This free license only gives access to certain **free or beta addons**.

Some important points to remember:

- The **free license key is not required** to use the freemium version of the plugin.
- It is only used to **activate free or beta addons**.
- It does **not allow the use of premium addons**.
