# Can SmartSearchWP work with Gemini or only with ChatGPT?

This is an FAQ answer for the [Wordpress plugin chatGPT SmartSearchWP](https://www.smartsearchwp.com/en/).

Currently, **SmartSearchWP is only compatible with the OpenAI API**, which means it works exclusively with **ChatGPT**.

The plugin does **not** currently **support Gemini (Google AI) or other AI models**. If compatibility with other AIs is added in the future, we'll announce it in our official updates.
